one more

I met Loren Huddleston five years ago while doing a story on the "last farmers" of Dearborn County.  A retired farmer & rural mail carrier, Loren lived on the farm where three generations of his family called home - a farm where he raised his three children, and the place where a tree he felled killed his own father.  By the time we met, his wife Norma was gone and so was much of his memory but he walked me around his land, still proud of the work he had done.  Loren died in March and now his sons Harry & John are tasked with cleaning out and getting ready to sell. Today, I took one more look around one more farm, soon to be gone.
